Defining volunteer roles, keeping the tasks for each simple and easy enough that we can get volunteers for them; assuming that our members would like to volunteer if they can contribute in small increments consistent with busy lifestyles.

Hello, this is [you] from the Inland Mendocino Democratic Club. I’m calling you about our Mobile Headquarters which is being set up for Election 2022. Are you as concerned as I am about protecting our democracy both locally and nationally? Are there specific areas you are concerned about (school superintendent, supervisor races, climate, voter protection, abortion, gay and transgender rights, police no-knock warrants)?

RECRUITING For JOBS

Hello, this is [you] from the Inland Mendocino Democratic Club. I’m calling you about our Mobile Headquarters which is being set up for Election 2022Recurit. You may remember Joe Wildman appearing around the county in his van with election material in 2020. This election, we’d like to reincarnate the MHQ with multiple vehicles and work shared so that one person doesn’t carry the whole burden.
We need : MHQ Volunteers

We need - lets digest the list of Volunteer roles into a list of skills
• an event scheduler, to set up dates and locations for the MHQ.
• A person to make sure the MHQ trips have a kit of supplies, items to hand out, etc.
• A person in each location to make sure the kit of supplies is ready for the MHQ.
• A trainer to make sure MHQ hosts know tasks like registering voters and requirements about taking cash.
• A person to distribute PSA’s to newspaper and radio
• Several people to recruit help for each MHQ stop as dates become known.

Could you help us with any of these positions?

NOTES:

Please note that we will have to make calls thru the list more than as the campaign progresses, and once the schedule for the MHQ becomes populated.The MHQ Schedule will mostly be driven to the success of the recruiters – i.e., the results of these calls.

We’ll need to refer the volunteer to the MHQ Guide, and send a message to our Recruit Coordinator who should notify the MHQ Scheduler. Two more roles to fill (-:0

I think we need to add some basic skills needed for each role, and then a recruiter can talk about those first. If volunteer expresses an interest, then dive into the role's detail.
