Opportunity Update -OPPS
(Note: In this document, "member" refers to all the person entries in the Member App, not just MIGS)
Goal: Fully Operational Volunteer Mobilization Facility
The IMDC Member App includes the Volunteer Mobilization Facility (VMF) that maps members' choices of volunteer opportunities to IMDC Events' volunteer opportunity needs. The VMF depends on members entering their choices of opportunities, a robust and rich Opportunity Library and the Events catalog including well defined volunteer opportunities.. The VMF is operational, but the supporting data is incomplete. Currently the members' participation is sparse, members are not aware of the VMF, the Opportunity Library entries are not concise and are of uneven clarity, and the Events catalog is not well defined. The OPPS project intends to fully develop and deploy the VMF by September 1, 2026.
Objectives: September 1, 2026
