Demographics

Greetings!

Thank you for volunteering to host the IMDC Mobile Headquarters.

When you join the campaign hosting a MHQ, you have the opportunity to engage voters face to face.

You will help people to register to vote, although we cannot talk about what party they will register for. The MHQ has all the registration forms and information to register voters, either hard copy and online with their cell phone. See QR Code.

You want to encourage voters to vote for Democrat candidates. The MHQ contains various flyers to provide you with the knowledge to inform voters of Democratic goals, ideals, accomplishments, and provide information of our candidates.
The MHQ is the place for interested voters to get lawn signs, bumper stickers, and other paraphernalia to join the campaign and show our support for our Democratic candidates, but campaigning is expensive; we encourage and accept donations for lawn signs, bumper stickers pins, etc.
You can suggest donations for:

  • Buttons $1
  • Lawn signs $15
  • Bumper stickers and rally signs $5

You can encourage people to join the IMDC highlighting the Informational Panel style of our meetings and access to our electeds.
The MHQ contains IMDC Membership forms or they can do it online. You can also mention our communications platform, email and text, to stay informed of important county issues.

Encourage dems to engage in campaigns arouind the country and state.

How Does MHQ Work

Mendocino is a big county, and having a single campaign headquarters in downtown Ukiah misses a big part of our community. The MHQ is a compact kit with all you need to provide the services of a headquarters, that can be easily transported and set up at any convenient site around the county. There are 6 MHQ Kits. We have deployed them in Covolo, Willits, Ukiah, and Anderson Valley. We use one to reach out to young voters and Spanish speakers.
