  4. Treasurer’s Report – Tabled for Scott’s absence
    1. Approve new Members in Good Standing
  5. Chair’s Report – Not much new
    Fred wants pictures of the MHQ to post on the website.
  6. Business –
    1. MHQ Project Review
      1. We’ll discuss
        • what went right
        • what went wrong –
          • Only go to someplace where people are gathered for another reason/event
          • No way to restock the boxes
          • Failed to orient the people who took the MHQ kits
          • Needs bling to hand out
          • Candidates didn’t respond to requests for campaign literature
          • Some people don’t want to sign up online – not a good continuity
        • what do we need to improve
          • Must orient each person who checks out the MHQ box
          • Need to have an orientation before distributing the MHQ kits
          • In 2024 there will be campaign swag
          • Buttons – not
          • Better to have a single person to schedule people –
        • is it worth doing again?  YES
        • any and all ideas and concerns about the project
          • Gather all 5 kits at Robin’s house and take them to the storage space
          • Jim’s kit is already there
          • Helen will call Val about Val’s kit
          • Kayla will call about Tekla’s kit
    1. Report on regular civic events that IMDC should engage – Steve
    1. Executive Committee Elections – By Laws
      1. Vice-President and Treasurer shall be elected in even numbered years.
      2. The Executive Committee shall nominate a slate of all expiring officers’ positions and the three member at large positions.
      3. Any member may run for office or member at large by submitting their name in writing to the Executive Committee at least thirty (30) days prior to the January membership meeting.
      4. The Executive Committee’s slate of candidates and a list of all other candidates shall be distributed to the membership using any electronic or physical means as appropriate at least fifteen (15) days prior to the election date.

        Nominations Jan 12
        At least fifteen (15) days prior to the election date. Jan 25
        Election Feb 9
      6. Helen is working on it.  Tekla said she would consider being secretary.

    1. WHO ARE WE? Where do go from here? 2024 is on the way!

      1. Consider Club meetings
      2. Continue Zooming?
      3. In person – find a venue – Ukiah Brewery? Pay for venue?
      4. Program – continue forum style with guest speakers?
      5. Add business segment?
      6. Consider becoming an ACTIVIST organization – like Newt’s ‘Contract on America’ or ‘Tea Party’, or ‘Indivisible’
    2. Gather, return MHQ Kits. Let’s do a photo shoot to record one – who, when, where???
      1. Have a general meeting to ask for suggestions for next year and share good new year wishes on 8th Dec
      2. Jim is retiring from liaison and being a member at large
      3. Jim will remind central committee members to pay their IMDC dues.
