      1. Endorsement Standing Rule: I've reorganized Kayla's doc a bit with headings and re-groupings. I also added my comments in italic text and mostly indented. I did not change any of her initial text. <Table until after the election>

      2. Gabriel reports on Prop 34 for next club meeting. Opponents argue that the measure is illegal because it singles out the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. Prop 33 is supported by AIDS Foundation. Prop 34 seems like it is a retaliation from landlords to the AIDS Foundation. Recommend that the Exec Committee vote to oppose prop 34. Group supports yes on 33 and no on 34. 20241018 Approved: MSV: Helen, Steve, 7-0
      3. Ideas for Attracting Members to Mendocino County Democratic Inland Club
        I sent an email to Susan Savage to get trained with MOE.

        • The membership is 2% of the registered democrats that could be in the club.
        • Use MOE to generate target DEMS for out-reach
        • I'd like to get a list of registered DEMs in our IMDC zips to send out recruiting letters, or a least to sign up on the mailing list.
        • A list of specific age groups to help the REYDems,
        • A list by ethnicity to help Juan set up a Latino club.
        • A list of  those Dems who have not voted in recent elections, a reminder that registering is only the first step in participation.
      4. MHQ status and results - we need to re-think the MHQ
      5. Election watch party. I've reserved ARRC large room for Nov 5
        1. Steve arrange for wine and beer
        2. Helen refreshments-get pizza's from Marino's. Popcorn, vegetables trays will be made at the site.
        3. Rosemary Eddy is unavailable
        4. We have the large H11 room for Tuesday, November 5. Any time after about 3:30. Start set up at 5 pm. Open doors at 7 pm.
    9. New Business   
      1. Upcoming elections - 
        1. The officers and members at large of the Executive Committee shall be elected by a majority vote of the members in good standing in attendance at the February (13) meeting of the members
        2. President and Secretary shall be elected in odd numbered years
        3. Nominations shall be conducted at the January (9) meeting of the members
        4. Any member may run for office or member at large by submitting their name in writing to the Executive Committee at least thirty (30) days prior (Dec 10) to the January (9) membership meeting
        5. The Executive Committee's slate of candidates and a list of all other candidates shall be distributed to the membership using any electronic or physical means as appropriate at least fifteen (15 ) days prior (Jan 29) to the election date

    10. Good of the Order - Fred did a year in review and set general goals for next year accomplishments.
            1. Who to vote for Treasurer of Mendocino County? Suggestion by Robin- write in Chamise Cubbison. 
            2. Central Committee meeting report by Tekla- Lynne is back in the drivers seat for November. Tekla continues to be trained on preparation of becoming president. Redwood Club is reforming under Kenny Jowers. Coast Club Stay Tuned. Prop 33 and Prop 4 were supported by Central Committee. Central Committee also endorsed Jay Epstein, Gerry Gonzales, Heather Criss, 
            3. Helen moved to donate $250 to Gabrielle from the Club Tekla voiced concerns that it has not gone through process. Helen withdrew the motion.
    11. Meeting adjourned at 5;31.
