- Making a major push all over the county to promote Proposition 50, the redistricting measure. Tekla is organizing canvassing teams in the county's 4 cities. Steve is designing a postcard in favor of Prop 50 to mail to Democratic voters in the more remote parts of the county. Plan to have a postcard writing party at the IMDC October 9 general meeting. We need to also have teams registering voters.
- Chair’s Report- Fred Mervine
- Fred has a big recruitment plan for membership. It begins with his custom membership program he wrote that tracks all members and interested parties, as well as their volunteer interests, and the status of their membership payments. The program integrates with our Brevo email communications packet, with PayPal for dues, and generates lists of volunteers for each category sending them email letters inviting them to volunteer. Fred will launch the finished program at the Labor Day Picnic.
- Next, Fred plans to generate lists of registered Democrats living in Inland Mendocino and invite them to join the IMDC.
