- Chair’s Report- Fred Mervine - We want to create a General Purpose PAC. We will need a Treasurer for the PAC separate from the club. Robin questions the purpose of the PAC. According to Fred, Susan claims we are not in compliance when contributing to a county candidate's campaign. Steve says that as individuals we can postcard for campaigns. If the club pays for postage and asked people to spend time, that is not a contribution to the campaign and not in violation. Guest, Peter Good, from Progressive Turnout, explained how the Progressive Turnout Get Out the Vote Campaign works as a non-political campaign. The question will be investigated further and the topic tabled until next week with Susan present.
