  2. Revision and approval of agenda

  3. Consider January Minutes
  4. Treasurer’s Report
    1. Approve new members- Approved 2 new members and 2 renewals. We have a total of ten new members for a total of 127 member in good standing. Approved one waiver of dues (see financial report) Vote to approve list provided by Robin pending their status as being registered in the democratic party..

  6. Central Committee Report - Jesse
    Presentation on non voters in 2024 vs 2020 and the party alignment.

      1. Endorsement Standing Rule: Fred reorganized Kayla's doc a bit with headings and re-groupings. Fred added his comments in italic text and mostly indented. He did not change any of her initial text.

      2. Ideas for Attracting Members to Mendocino County Democratic Inland Club
        Who got trained? Jesse, Michelle, and Robin. Who will do the MOE? Jesse will be able to pull data reports for us. 
        • The membership is 2% of the registered democrats that could be in the club.
        • Use MOE to generate target DEMS for out-reach
        • I'd like to get a list of registered DEMs in our IMDC zips to send out recruiting letters, or a least to sign up on the mailing list.
        • A list of specific age groups to help the REYDems,
        • A list by ethnicity to help Juan set up a Latino club.
        • A list of  those Dems who have not voted in recent elections, a reminder that registering is only the first step in participation.
      3. Upcoming Slate Elections - February 13 - Helen- Slate was approved by 8 voters. 
      4. Adopting Score Start voting for county elections Nothing to report
      5. Estelle Introduction of petition to reinstate Auditor and Tax Collector as separate, elected offices - Robin sent the petition to the EXEC Team. We will all reply to Fred with our opinion. Fred will communicate result to us. Michelle will contact Estelle about the result of our vote to support.  Helen explained the resolution. Fred called for a vote to endorse the resolution. MSV: Robin, Helen, 7-1-0 Approved. Michelle voted against.

            1. Sheriff/Police Chief ?Allow deport from jail - esp those awaiting trial
            2. BoS reps John Haschak, Ukiah CC - Juan, Mari, Heather Criss
              1. First newsletter was published today. John, Juan and Eileen Mitro contributed. Mari is on board
            3. Chris Rogers -Mendo staff added to mailing list.

          3. Anti-Deportation Training -  ACLU Training occurred. There is a link that Steve has to be able to review the training. Steve will send the link to Fred to post on the website. ACLU Training is scheduled for the second Thursday of the month which conflicts with the clubs monthly meeting. Plan to sponsor the meeting. Jacquie Orozco is the contact for the group that is forming to become a Rapid Response Network.

          5. Where do kids go if parents are captured? Letter template to be deposited with important parties- Juan and Helen are working to connect this to the schools
          6. Catholic Charities Schedule - First Wednesday of Every Month
          7. Psych consulting- consider including topic at February.

    1. Develop list of resources - Helen will send Fred the list of speakers from the last meeting.
    2. Help CC with fund raiser?
  10. Good of the Order Fred- Everything being done by Trump is to flood the zone. A general strike might be in our future to shut down the country. Helen- Do we want to put together a program about Climate Refugee, Farm Workers, and John Haschak. Steve recommended that write postcards for the upcoming elections. Gabriel- Climate panel might want to wait for April because it is closer to earth day. He also attended the protest yesterday met people, and invited them to the IMDC meetings. Helen agreed that we focus on postcards in March and have the panel in April. Steve will connect with Tekla.
