Proposed resolution and agreement to use Joe Louis Wildman’s Sprinter 2500 (hereafter BAV) as a year-round mobile headquarters for the Democratic Party of Mendocino County (hereafter MCDCC).
Joe Louis Wildman (hereafter JLW) will continue to operate the BAV as a mobile HQ, making stops around the County. JLW will be the sole driver and will maintain his own liability insurance and be responsible for his own maintenance. The MCDCC will reimburse JLW for no more than his first 250 miles per month actually driven and for which JLW has provided mileage log to the Treasurer of MCDCC. The log will include the date(s) of travel, the destination(s), and the miles traveled. The reimbursement will be at the IRS rate in effect at the time of travel.
- JLW will volunteer his time as the driver and operator of the BAV and volunteer his time in carrying out and preparation for activities of the Mobile HQ
- JLW will report to the Chair of the MCDCC.
- In addition to the Chair of the MCDCC, JLW will coordinate his activities with Presidents of the various chartered clubs.
- All donations collected will be turned over to the Treasurer of the MCDCC for deposit and JLW will gather any information and documentation needed to comply with FEC and FPPC requirements.
- The BAV will carry voter registrations, materials for club membership, materials for CADEM activities, materials for elected Democrats that were endorsed by the MCDCC, and any other materials approved by the MCDCC.
- Democratic merchandise may only be sold or given as premiums in accordance with a written agreement to be developed by JLW and the Treasurer of the MCDCC and approved by the MCDCC.
- This Agreement stands alone and separate from any other agreement that may be reached between JLW and the MCDCC unless a subsequent agreement explicitly amends or take standing over this agreement.
- This agreement can be discontinued by either party effective by providing written notification
