Monica suggested we obtain a vehicle and outfit as a mobile headquarters and set up at various sites throughout the inland area during the campaign from Labor Day until Election Day. The Executive committee met twice during June in addition to the regular meeting to launch the Mobile Headquarters project. Joe Lewis presented a proposal which was passed to provide the vehicle and driver for the duration. He also suggested that we will be available to appear at locations on the coast to be scheduled by the coast clubs if desired. Judy will lead a team to provision the MH with appropriate campaign collateral.

We intend to produce the Labor Day Picnic from the MH. Some ideas:

Big Screen Zoom featuring the electeds, local candidates, music and maybe DNC and CDP video ads. Perhaps refreshments all from the MH probably located at the Ukiah Muni Park. Of course maintaining physical distance and masks. We are considering doing several of these events around the county during the Campaign (LD-ED) - perhaps on the coast.

Jim Wood attended the June  Club meeting bringing us up to date on his work at the Assembly.

Endorsement Standing Rule development is ongoing with 2 distinct approaches to the conundrum:

Endorsement Questionnaire

IMDC Endorsement Standing Rule - Draft

The second idea under consideration is to NOT endorse at all but to provide neutral support to all local Democratic Candidates who respond to the questionnaire and who agree to uphold the Democrat's Platform (DNC and CDP) and abide by our Code of Conduct. (Where "support" is TBD)
