Events Committee Charter

    1. Goal
      Organize and field events that inform the public of issues, concerns and solutions that will enable them to vote wisely
    2. Objectives
      Monthly club meetings program consists of a featured speaker, panel or forum that discusses issues that are important to our members, generally of a local nature.

      1. Monthly high impact club meetings
      2. Produce frequent community, campaign and election events and activities
      3. Create new club meeting format s- improve the monthly club program
    3. Club Meetings
      1. Discover and evaluate important issues and concerns of the day
      2. Schedule speakers / forums / panels for monthly club meetings
      3. Develop other formats for the club meetings - e.g., sit down dinner
      4. Work with Communications team to advertise events
    4. Work with Volunteer Coordinator to Launch club events
      1. Use the Membership App Admin to launch events
      2. Use Membership App to send followup text and or email
      3. Coordinate other committee events and activities
      4. Update web site calendar
