Community Outreach Committee Charter

    1. Goal
      To be a significant force in Mendocino politics, we need to be recognized as an active participant in civic affairs and establish a reputation of acting on our progressive ideals and beliefs.
    2. Objectives
      1. Produce community events and activities to establish IMDC in the public mind.
      2. Assist volunteers in participating in these activities
      3. Develops an Outreach Program to carry forward the committee work
    3. Community Events Calendar
      1. Work with Events committee to develop plans for community activities and events
      2. Work with Volunteer Coordinator to enlist member volunteers
      3. Work with Events committee to arrange for candidate forums and speaking engagements
    4. Outreach
      1. Catalog community events - Fairs, Celebrations, etc dates
      2. Consider which ones IMDC can participate in
      3. Work with other committees to enable our participation
