MHQ - We can still get out our message. Register to vote will soon be provisional, but we can still sign people up.

MHQ Review

This was a pretty ambitious project, and I believe we were marginally successful, considering it was the first time trying this with member volunteers.

Consider the overall project - from start to finish. Next meeting we'll critique the project and consider if it is worth doing it again.

Exec Committee elections - VP and Treasurer and 3 Members at large. We need to make sure we have a full Exec Committee slate by Jan 12 meeting.

WHO ARE WE?

Should we become ACTIVISTS - like Newt's 'Contract on America' or 'Tea Party', or 'Indivisible'. At this point the Democratic Party, especially in Mendo, and in particular our club is pretty passive. Getting folks to register instead of getting folks to run for office. Doesn't make much difference if people vote, if the candidates do not support our progressive positions.

Local offices are critical to fill, but we've missed the opportunity to make sure we have candidates running. The GOP strategy has been VERY successful, and could turn Mendo Red if we are remain passive.

WE need to be working on 2024 & 2026 now. Val has been pretty active in encouraging people to run and to educate potential candidate on how to run. We need to super charge Val.
