Inland Mendocino Democratic Club Executive Committee Orientation
OK ! Let's get you properly installed as an Exec Com Member!!! (I probably make too many assumptions about people's computer access abilities, and I've not been really careful to keep the web site up to date.)
Following is a quick walk through of the basic communication paths for the Executive Committee. Please review and let me know if this is helpful, accurate, and sufficient. There is more, and the web site has (outdated) tutorials on how to use more advanced features, like adding website content and documents.
So - to begin:
Executive Committee Meetings:

We use Brevo to send out regular club meeting announcements and the newsletter. You are a subscriber and tagged as current paid up member, so you receive meeting announcements and the newsletter. Watch your email for SENDER = Inland Mendocino Democratic Club
Both include day and time of zoom meeting, credentials and a live link to the meetings.
IMEC Private Mail List
IMEC - the executive committee's private mailing list. We use this for private communication among Exec Com members.
When you want to send a message to the entire Exec Com, enter imec@inlandmendodems.org.
Please don't include CC's and BCC's on IMEC messages.
When one of the CCs replies all, it triggers an alert and halts the email until the mail list admin clears it - thus the CC sender's message doesn't get sent until reviewed by the mail list admin.
You are a member of this mail list with your email address
You receive email from the IMEC mail list. They have a sender of the form <sender's name> via Imec e.g., Fred via Imec

The IMDC Document Management System
The DOC system has both public and private documents. Most of the documents, including minutes and agendas are public. Private documents are available only to members who log in and have the rights ascribed to the documents. (more on logging later

Our regular club meetings feature a forum or featured speaker with the idea that a well informed electorate good for democracy. Business meetings are boring and dull which most people don't like at all and according to the bylaws, the Exec Committee can make all business decisions without involving the membership. Of course, there are some items that we do bring before the membership at club meetings.
The Minutes and Agendas are entered with a tight format including live links to related docs such as previous month's minutes, treasurer's report, committee reports, etc. All of these should be posted to the web site.
Here is the 4/19 Exec Com agenda: IMDC Exec Agenda 04-22
You can check out the live links to see how this works. The minutes are really a clone of the agenda with record of attending members, results of any actions taken, and any additional information added to augment reports etc. Click on the March 22 Executive Committee Minutes link to see what that looks like.Bylaws:
