Elections Committee Charter<\/h3>\n

    1. Goal
      \nEnlist and Elect candidates that support our primary mission. Elections Chair remit is all of the elected offices in the county.<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
    2. Objectives<\/span><\/strong>\n
        \n
      1. For each election cycle, enlist an IMDC candidate for all county offices that will be on the current ballot<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
      2. Deploy MHQ  at selected locations around the IMDC region<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
      3. Enlist \/ Endorse Candidates<\/span><\/strong>\n
          \n
        1. Access county election roles to determine candidates<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
        2. Use MOE to determine Democratic candidates<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
        3. Work with Executive Committee to select offices to endorse<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
        4. Work with Communications team to solicit endorsement requests<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
        5. Vet and interview candidates and recommend to Executive committee for endorsement<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
        6. Work with Events committee to arrange for candidate forums and speaking engagements<\/span><\/strong>\n
            \n
          1. Required membership status, MIGS, non-members, other conditions <\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
          2. Deploy MHQ<\/span><\/strong>\n
              \n
            1. Setup and maintain MHQ-FM, the Farmers' Markets MHQ<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
            2. Maintain, update MHQ Kits<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
            3. Seek out deployment locations<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
            4. Work with Robin to develop and deliver MHQ training<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
            5. Develop MHQ deployment schedule\/location and work with VC to enlist volunteers to deploy the MHQ<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
            6. Report on MHQ activity<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
            7. Work with Volunteer Coordinator to Launch Election Events<\/span><\/strong>\n
                \n
              1. Use the Membership App Admin to launch events<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
              2. Update web site calendar<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n
              3. Use Membership App to send followup text and or email<\/span><\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/li>\n
              4. Work with other committees to develop and deliver various training for election programs<\/span><\/strong>\n
