Fair Booth Volunteer Guide -2024<\/h3>\n

Description:<\/span><\/strong><\/h1>\n

A fair booth provides visibility for the IMDC and the MCDP. [Education] It provides a vehicle to bring our progressive ideals to the general public and opportunities to [Election] register voters and encourage Democratic votes.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The booth is acquired and paid for by the Central Committee including most of the collateral<\/strong><\/p>\n

IMDC and the MCDP show a booth at the Redwood Empire Fair in at the Fairgrounds in Ukiah, in August; at the Mendocino County Fair & Apple Show in Bonneville in September; and the PumpkinFest in Ukiah in October.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Duration<\/span>
\n<\/span>The fairs run from the first Thursday or Friday through the following S<\/span>unday. Days and hours vary.<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

A boot is usually staffed with two volunteers in two hour shifts, although the last shift may be 3 hours.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n
